We Want to Hear About Problems
If something went wrong with our service, or with a contractor you were connected with, tell us. Complaints help us decide who we work with and how we explain things.
How to Complain
Email help@basementwaterproofingyoungstown.com with:
- your name and the best way to reach you;
- your ZIP code and roughly when you sent your request;
- the name of the contractor, if the complaint is about one; and
- what happened and what you'd like done.
What We'll Do
- We'll confirm we got your complaint within 2 business days.
- If it's about our service, we'll look into it and reply within 14 days.
- If it's about a contractor, we'll pass it to our referral partner so it can be reviewed, and let you know we've done so. We can't settle disputes about a contractor's work, price or warranty, because your agreement is with the contractor.
If a Contractor Dispute Isn't Resolved
Contact the contractor in writing first and keep copies of your contract, quotes and photos. If that doesn't work:
- In Ohio: you can contact the Ohio Attorney General's Consumer Protection Section.
- In Pennsylvania: you can contact the Pennsylvania Attorney General's Bureau of Consumer Protection, which oversees Home Improvement Contractor registration.
